“Even when I don’t see it, You are working—deeply, slowly, faithfully.”
Forests are quiet teachers.
The sunlight trickles through the branches. Everything moves, but nothing hurries. And under the surface—where we can’t see—it’s alive. Growing. Deepening. Rooting.
While walking a forest trail, I felt the presence of God in a new way. Not loud or obvious. Just steady. Gentle. Faithful. The kind of presence that reminds you: He’s working even when you don’t feel it.
Prayer from the Forest:

Lord,
in the quiet of the forest, I’m reminded that growth happens in the hidden places.
Even when I don’t see it, You are working—
deeply, slowly, faithfully.
Help me trust You in the waiting.
Amen.
Reflection:
We live in a world that craves instant answers, visible results, and clear direction. But the forest reminds me that God often does His deepest work in silence. In the unseen. In seasons that feel like waiting.
Maybe you’re in one of those seasons right now. Waiting for healing. For direction. For a door to open. This prayer is for you.
What season are you in right now—growing, waiting, trusting?
Let me know in the comments.
With trust from the road,
Keep it salty friends!
