“Lord, You don’t just wait at the top—You walk every step with me.”

There’s something sacred about climbing through the mountains.

The steady rhythm of your steps. The quiet. The wide-open sky. It’s a place that humbles and lifts you all at once.

On a recent hike, my legs ached from the incline. I wanted to stop. But I also felt God whisper, “I’m with you in every step.” And that reminder—so simple—strengthened me in more ways than one.

Prayer from the Mountains:

Lord,

when life feels uphill,

remind me that You are my strength.

You don’t just wait at the top—You walk every step with me.

Give me steady feet and a faithful heart to keep climbing.

Amen.

Reflection:

Mountains represent both beauty and challenge. There are days when life feels like a steep climb, and we wonder if we’re making any progress at all. But God isn’t only at the summit—He’s right beside us in the slow, breathless climb.

Maybe you’re in a season where you’re climbing something hard—grief, uncertainty, rebuilding, starting over. If so, I pray this brings you hope.

Has God ever shown up for you in the “climb”?

I’d love to hear your story in the comments.

With strength from the road,

Keep it salty friends!
